MY FAVORITE PART? the characters.
Splatoon 2 was a good sequel fr
Hey I’m also a big stupid baby and I can’t get the drool stains out of my shirt either do you have any suggestions
An eye for an eye, charmelion is really op
King K Shogun would be funny
AAAA !! I’m so glad that wandersong is getting more recognition !!!! It’s such a lovely game. I’ve been a fan since it’s release and I’ve been so upset that it hasn’t had more attention
Personally I thought The Watcher was a really good game.
Pikachu was my starter. I remember Brock being super hard, although tbf I was also like five years old at most.
An accomplishment that I still cherish today is my fight against the devil from cuphead, so challenging yet so rewarding
Going even further, Bulbasaur also gives you type advantage against the third gym and keeps you neutral against the fourth. Squirtle is disadvantaged against both of those, pushing the player to diversify their team. I would say the same is true for Bulbasaur given how the rival sports a flying-type focused team, pushing players to catch a Geodude in Mt Moon to deal with the nugget bridge battle.
In further defense of Bulbasaur and Squirtle over Charmander, Fire types were overrated back in Gen 1, since Flying type Pokémon, which were also common, could cover the Grass and Bug types that Fire types were super-effective against, while Fighting types and Rock types were, like Fire types, both also super-effective against Ice types (and Steel type didn't exist yet).
Honestly there was never a pay off. Venusaur is leagues better then the other two and also resists the third gym. By this point, you have access to a lot of different pokemon anyway and can get Vulpix or Growlithe if you really want a fire type for Erika, but Fearow or Pidgeot (though Wing attack is awful in gen 1) will do just fine. Fire was a terrible type in gen 1 honestly. Making things even better for Venusaur is the critical hit bug making Razor Leaf even stronger and it learn it relatively early. Charizard does benefit from this with Slash but that's not the same typing. As for Blastoise, it doesn't matter for beating the game but outside of that they are greatly outclassed by a number of water types. Starmie, Lapras and Slowbro are all much better. Venusaur is the best grass type available. Vileplume is ass in gen 1 (doesn't have razor leaf) and Victreebel while decent isn't as good as Venusaur. Tangela also lacks razor leaf and even if it had it it's stats are kinda bad. Kinda ironic though because after this game the grass starter is usually among the worst choices. At least for beating the game with.
I think Snowman just tricked me into rewatching a 7 year old video. Nice.
One of the most memorable bosses I’ve fought is the devil from cuphead. right out of the start, he has an 80% chance of hitting you with his goat attack. which for someone who has never fought the devil, will believe it is impossible to dodge, but with trial and error, you will figure it out. This is why cuphead is my favorite game of all time.
The disadvantage for brock is at least slightly lessened by the fact that none of his Pokemon learn any rock type attacks.
Plus his team has lousy special stat so even though ember isn't super effective it still does decent damage.

hidden difficulty or shitty generation balance which way western man
i didn't choose on a hidden difficulty i was a bit late to get my first game, and i was aware of the types affinities and what the first two gyms were, i picked bulbasaur fully knowing it would have a easier time
snowman gaming your my favorite
Yeah, but Bulbasaur is neat. I always pick grass types. Turtwig was a bro.
Woah I can't believe I found the one person on earth that chooses the grass starter
Charmander club
Charizard all the way. Forgot bulbasaur and squirtle even existed until you mentioned them in this video
congratulations you're pokemon's target audience
And when you are forced to pick pikachu in pokemon yellow, you will have to grind like crasy to pass brock, and then stomp misty
Or use something called "strategy"
@@ernestosouza3471 to be fair, when I was a kid playing the Pokemon games, I did not know any English, so I would stomp my face against it until it worked.
@@SamuraiMotoko the same strategy also used by most English-speaking kids (me)
You didn't just catch a Mankey and stomp Brock with it?
one word, mankey
You picked your Pokémon based on a hidden difficulty mechanic. I picked mine because it was on the cover of the game cartridge. We are not the same.
But we are the same
God, I remember when my older brother introduced me to this game on our awful IBM loaded up with zSNES. I fell it love with it but at my age I couldn't possibly comprehend it. Can't wait to finally pick it back up and continue after years.
19:27 I will give Color Splash one thing though. At least that game didn't make Bowser straight up MUTE for the entirety of the game like Sticker Star did. This, for those not in the know, is a pretty serious sin if it happens in an RPG game
I was literally looking everywhere for the song that went "Do deu-du-deu, deu-du-deu, deu-du-deu-dyu", I looked through the entire Ninja Gaiden and Street Fighter 2 OSTs, only to find it here (to clarify, it was Gangplank Galleon)
Animal Well is a different genre but equally satisfying in game discovery moments!
DLC? don't you mean free update?
It's incredibly well told. I've cried so much because of it and I love feeling the characters' stories
But why is an android 🌈?
I never played console Sonic games, but I did play the ones for the Gamebody Advance. Sonic Advance 1 and 2 are absolutely amazing, both in gameplay, and sprite art.
8:00 honestly I think if you find flipside to be too cumbersome and hard to navigate, putting the different locales in different parts of the hub only makes it even more cumbersome and make this problem even worse… It’s true that it would feel more seamless, but for the average player that is not a worthwhile tradeoff if it means more frustrating gameplay :(
Just played this for the second time. Still great years after release. More non-Mario 3D platformers is great to see
almost a decade into VR and all we have is beat saber and half life alyx. and the price hasnt exactly gone down for it either,
I truly believe Belcha to be one of the worst bosses in gaming so it's interesting to hear the opposite
Why tf does this have 82 likes and 5.2k dislikes??? Is Return RUclips Dislikes having a stroke?
It's just a shame the guy who voices the mafia guys is a MAGAt gun nut
I somehow forgot about this game
Spot on. Quite a disappointment
This game is a classic, and Its now available to be played on your cellphone today. Its fantastic to relive this classic
Super Paper Mario is a unique game that doesn’t need to be like every other game. Yes, it has non-traditional Paper Mario combat, but it’s a nice change of pace. Also, the 2D to 3D swapping is a bold and unique concept that keeps the game interesting for many years.
A question that should not be answered but experienced
Never heard so many "eazeepeazee crybaby bS all at once, really.
I wouldnt expect you to like Minecraft
What the freak is this style of video making where you depict your audience as strawman idiots and talk down to them? I downvoted and left after a minute.
They wouldn’t believe it
I’m playing through mania right now for the first time. I’m up to Mirage Saloon. I enjoyed all the zones except for Flying Battery 😞 I played the Genesis games prior via Origins + and CD is definitely my favorite between the four
I don’t mind some of the lack of research here and there, but loss of currency as a penalty for death originated before shovel knight. Death mechanics like hollow knight’s were likely inspired more by dark souls than anything else.
I think a good way to describe classic Sonic is similar to Hitman. In both games you study the map layout and plan the best routes, Hitman learns people's schedules while Sonic learns enemy and trap placements. Weather performing the perfect accidental kill without being seen or speeding through the level without getting hit and dropping momentum for the shortest clear time the goal of the perfect run is the same.
